THE CHARLOTTE OBSERVER – January 29, 2006

Cocktails & Creativity When Charlotte event planner Dina Berg Blazek found out Kimberly Kennedy was coming to town, she offered to host a party for the rising entertaining star Jan. 19 at RedSky Gallery at Phillips Place. Kennedy, who won the 2005 CBS reality show "Wickedly Perfect" and is author of "The Art and Craft of Entertaining," signed copies of her book and mingled with guests. Sporting a Marc Jacobs bag that was a Christmas gift from her husband, Kennedy flew in for the party from her home in Atlanta with her traveling companion, mother Cyndy Hartman. Berg filled the party with clever touches, including an hor d'oeuvres tray that played "Wickedly Perfect." The amazing food was prepared by Berg's husband, Ron, the former chef-owner of Relish in Chicago.
