Summer Love
My first encounter with this wedding was about two weeks in advance at a floral meeting. We finalized the flower selection and decided to incorporate family silver into the flower arrangements at the reception. This was my first insight into how sentimental this wedding would be.
On the Wednesday before the wedding, Dina, a friend of mine, and myself assembled the amenity boxes. Let me tell you, they were: So. Cute. Everything in this amenity box was extremely personal and relevant to the couple’s life. A couple examples of how personal these boxes were: a green apple was included because of the bride is a teacher and the dog cookie resembled their dog, Miles, who helped the groom ask his now wife to marry him!
Although it was a hot day, you couldn’t beat the view at Charlotte Country Club. It was absolutely gorgeous and was a wonderful backdrop for our evening.
The reception was full of excitement as the band played upbeat hits that everyone knew and the majority of the guests were on the dance floor all night!
Soon enough, like always, the night was already over and we were handing out gold confetti for the couple’s departure. What a way to end the night!
