A Rainy Day at The Duke Mansion

Yes, I love this business. Yes, I cry when my sweet brides walk down the aisle. Imagine the emotions when an iconic Charlotte wedding professional (who happened to play the very first wedding I worked at Quail Hollow Club) hired me to plan his daughters wedding. I was ecstatic, humbled and thrilled to oblige. Smitty & Jill Flynn’s sweet daughter Kate married Josh, a fellow Chicagoan, in April at The Duke Mansion. Yes, the extremely rainy Saturday.

Despite the weather, this spectacular vendor team pulled off a flawless wedding and we thank Love Shutter and Brian Bunn Films for capturing all of this loveliness for us to share! And you may have noticed the new addition to our homepage thanks to Love Shutter!
